Christmas is upon us!

Just like everyone else that I know, I cannot believe it is December already. This year has really flown by...but like they say, "time flies when you're having fun!" That is exactly what this past year has been. I've learned a lot, grown up a tad bit (just a tad), met some great new friends (Jamie!!) and have gotten to see life in a whole new light.
2008 has been a blessing, it was my first year of not having to go to school!  It was fantastic.  Every once in awhile I'll be sitting around and wondering if I have anything to do because for most of my life I've been in school!  It's a great feeling though to know I don't have homework anymore...well, until I decide to go back to Grad school (who would ever think of such a thing!!!).  Seeing how the world is without school has been an life alternating experience.  I got to do a lot of great things this past year.
I worked for the Idaho Steelheads hockey team as well as the Boise Burn football team for awhile.  It was a lot of fun getting to go to the games, but also at times very exhausting.  I got the chance to work with the Idaho Golf Association as well.  I finally got to take a vacation to an island!  Yes, Hawaii!!  It was such a blast and I'm so happy I got to go and experience it with my old roommate, Laura.  Snorkeling, laying out on the beach, playing in the waves and partying at night on the island was just amazing!
It has finally started to snow in Boise this weekend.  Whenever it starts to snow I get so excited because then it truly feels like Christmas!  Hopefully the snow sticks around awhile longer so we can have a white Christmas!!
I hope all of you do have a wonderful Christmas if we don't get the chance of meeting up to see one another!!
I'm sad to see 2008 come to an end but I'm excited for 2009 to start and see where life takes me next!!
Merry Christmas everyone!!
